BIOGRAPHY
Since
1983, Lili Goodman Freitas has officiated weddings
as a non-denominational
ordained minister. She
officiates Marriage, Renewal of Vows and
Commitment ceremonies throughout
the greater San Francisco Bay and Northern
California Area.
Lili
holds Masters degrees in Social Work, Psychology,
and Spiritual Science and her interest in creative
ritual, comparative religion and belief systems
led her to complete a Ph.D. in Folklore-Folklife.
She serves on the faculty of the University
of Santa Monica, teaching in the Master’s degree
programs in Spiritual Psychology and Counseling
Psychology. Her experience for over twenty-five
years as an educator, counselor and coach inform
her ministry with couples. She extends loving,
compassion, insight, warmth and humor while
conveying the sacredness of the marriage ceremony.
Lili
lives with her husband in Petaluma California
where they enjoy renovating their 100 year
old home. In her spare time, she enjoys her
family, playing the fiddle with the San Francisco
Scottish Fiddlers, writing, gardening, and
volunteering with the Rotary Club of Petaluma
Sunrise, MSIA, and the Peace Theological Seminary
and College of Philosophy.
